Working Women???

A newspaper article few days before read about a political leader proclaiming that Women should not be allowed to work!!! He declared that Women is born to give birth and to take care of man's household???
I am working for my family for the last 10 years. From the time I am graduated, I started working due to the adverse finance situations in my family. Due to my father's ill-health and being the eldest child of the family I had to take over the huge debt , treatments of my father and the studies of my younger brother.

I have always worked for them...spent my income for them...handled every situations for them ...even after my marriage...till now...my brother is old enough to work for the family now, but he has his own dreams and expectations of a career and I am waiting till now for him to take over the financial burden of the family...i worked to support my husband with his financial burdens...apart from my childhood and teenage, i never got a chance to sit at home and enjoy the fruits of a man's income.......being a single parent of my child, I am working to bring him up. So ??? I am proud of what I am. Especially , being a woman.

Lakhs of women work, Lakhs of women decorate higher positions of high profile organizations , women adoring stardom in cinema , sports , dance and music etc ARE working....women are in the defense force of the nation , women are in the medical fields , in police forces....in politics....in literature , in education , in areas where only women can bring a change .....and they participate in a major part of country's development... Lakhs of children grow up with just their mother's income, not even knowing who their fathers are ...

Leaders leading the nation or any building blocks of it are requested to re-examine their words when they speak as they face the democratic crowd of India....a sponge ready to absorb any good or bad.
